Topless pools in Las Vegas: where you can still go top-optional

Topless pools in Vegas have been disappearing for years, and the list changes. A handful of resorts and one party-style club still allow top-optional sunbathing. Some are for hotel guests only. Here is what we could confirm as of October 2026. Confirm with the resort before you go, because pool rules change with new owners and new seasons.

Still top-optional

  • Moorea Beach Club, Mandalay Bay — a secluded, upscale, top-optional pool. Open to hotel guests and non-guests, which makes it the easiest to get into if you are staying elsewhere.
  • Wynn European Pool — a quiet, adult, European-style pool at Wynn Las Vegas. Hotel guests only.
  • Encore European Pool — the sister pool at Encore, upscale and secluded. Hotel guests only.
  • Lexi Pool, Lexi Las Vegas (formerly the Artisan) — 1501 W Sahara Ave. Advertises a European topless pool. Listed as hotel guests only.
  • Sapphire Pool & Day Club — 3025 S Sammy Davis Jr Dr. A party-style pool with a strip-club atmosphere, open to anyone 21+. It operates seasonally, and has skipped a season before, so check that it is running.

Pools that used to be topless

These no longer allow topless sunbathing, so do not rely on old guides that still list them: the Bare Pool at the Mirage (ended in June 2023), Venus Pool at Caesars Palace (lost topless status in 2019), Wet Republic at MGM Grand, Tao Beach at the Venetian, the pool at The STRAT, and the Flamingo.

Day clubs where tops stay on

If you want the party scene without the topless policy, Vegas has plenty of day clubs and pool parties: OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace, Marquee Day Club at The Cosmopolitan, Encore Beach Club, Tao Beach Club at the Venetian, LIV Beach at Fontainebleau, Ayu Dayclub at Resorts World, Stadium Swim at Circa, Liquid Pool Lounge at ARIA and the pools at the Sahara and Palms. Tops stay on at all of these.

Tips for a comfortable pool day

  • Top-optional means optional. Nobody is expected to go topless, and nobody should comment on anyone who does or does not.
  • Photos are the number one rule. Do not take photos or video where other guests might be in frame.
  • Bring ID and a room key. "Hotel guests only" is enforced. Most adult pools are 21+.
  • Beat the heat. Vegas summer sun is intense. Use high SPF, reapply, drink water and take breaks in the shade.
  • Go early. European pools are quieter in the morning, and cabana space is easier to get.
  • Check the season. Most Las Vegas pools are seasonal, running through the warmer months. Confirm dates and hours with the resort.
